Are you on a PC or Mac?

Under File at the top you have a choice of PAGE LAYOUT OR OR WORD DOC.   Choose Word Doc.

And copy all and paste.

I've published over 600 books on CS and believe me it is not hard.

I am working on a series now and have changed it three times already waiting for the next proof because I find something new I don't like with each review.

Don't be in a hurry.

Word is unstable and unable to produce a decent PDF. OpenOffice and its twin, LibreOffice are an order of magnitude better than Word. They're free and run on Windows or iOS. I switched from Word to OpenOffice and I've never looked back.

You can press the Control & A key to select the whole document
